Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to delete your Moment account and what happens to your data.

This action is permanent

Account deletion cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed from our systems. Please make sure this is what you want before proceeding.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile and account information (name, email)
  • All tasks, focus sessions, and productivity data
  • Goals, habits, and notes you've created
  • XP, levels, achievements, and streak data
  • Friend connections and crew membership

What may be retained

Some data may be retained for legal or business reasons:

  • Transaction records (for tax/legal compliance)
  • Anonymized analytics data
  • Data in backups (deleted within 90 days)

Deletion timeline

  • ImmediateYour account is deactivated and you'll be logged out
  • 30 daysPersonal data is permanently deleted from active systems
  • 90 daysData is removed from backup systems

How to delete your account

Option 1: Delete from the App

  1. Open Moment and log in to your account
  2. Go to Settings (tap your profile icon)
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your decision when prompted

Option 2: Request via Email

If you can't access the app, you can request deletion by email:

Don't forget to cancel your subscription

If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does NOT automatically cancel it. Please cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account to avoid future charges.
